2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays. The Avon Public Library
is seeking Teen Library Assistants (Children’s and Teen Services). We
are looking for applicants who enjoy working with middle school students
during the afternoon hours. Potential candidates will be knowledgeable
with public libraries, share a love of reading and books, and
demonstrate the desire to work in a high-energy, team-oriented
environment.
The salary is $20.4078/hour in accordance with Step 4A
of the Town of Avon’s Classification and Pay Plan. Sick leave is
provided consistent with State of Connecticut Regulations, but there are
no other benefits associated with this position.
