Librarian (Part Time)

The Meriden Public Library seeks a 20 hour/week Librarian to provide adult reference services.   Applicants must have excellent computer and communication skills, and enjoy exploring and utilizing new technologies.  Flexible schedule, including some day, night and weekend hours required.  MLS from an ALA-accredited school or a Bachelor’s Degree supplemented by graduate level courses which will lead to the Master of Library Science Degreewithin two years of employment.  Current hourly rate begins at $24.19 and increases to $27.45 after a year probation.  Benefits: Prorated vacation and sick time, 401 a pension plan.
