Children’s Librarian-

The Thomaston Public Library is seeking a creative and energetic librarian to lead our busy department.  Duties include planning and implementing programs for children aged birth through 12, purchasing all materials for the children’s collection, and operating as a liaison between the library and the community schools.  The Librarian will be expected to attend relevant meetings at the local and state level and participate in continuing educational opportunities. The ideal candidate will have (or be working towards) an MLS, a solid knowledge of children’s literature, strong computer skills and previous library experience.
