The position of children’s librarian is now open at the Public Library of New London. This position will work primarily with the birth to 5 population and there is a large component of outreach.
The
ideal candidate has experience working with young children and their
families and in applying early and pre-literacy concepts (such as the
skills and practices in Every Child Reading to Read). Strong second language skills (English/Spanish) a plus

This
is a full-time position with benefits and the starting salary is CLA
minimum $48,230 for a 35 hour week. MLS/MLIS degree required.
A car and valid CT driver’s license is required.
