Reference Librarian, Part-Time - The Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, Monroe, is seeking two part-time reference librarians. Position one: 19 hours per week including some weekend and evening hours. Duties include planning and supervising programs for adults; providing reference help and reader’s advisory guidance to patrons; website maintenance; publicity; other related duties. Salary: $19.77/hr, no benefits. Position two: Sunday hours, 12-4 pm, October-May only. Duties include: providing reference help and reader’s advisory, instruction of online databases, catalog and internet, supervising part-time staff as well as other related duties. Salary: $29.66/hr. no benefits. Strong customer service orientation and MLS required. MLS candidates nearing graduation will be considered.
