Part-time Children's Library Position - Westport Public Library

Part-time Children's Library Position - The Westport Public Library is seeking a creative, energetic individual with experience in children's library programming to be an active part of our enthusiastic Children's Library team. Requirements: Pre school programming experience. Comfortable providing reader's advisory with a working knowledge of children's literature and reading interests. Able to relate to children of all ages as well as their parents and caregivers. Must be a confident user of technology and Microsoft Office. Ability to bend, lift and carry. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required; degree in education or child related field a plus. Previous library experience a must. Library school students with a flexible schedule and strong desire to pursue a career in children's services are encouraged to apply. Schedule: 13 hours per week.
