Part Time Reference Position - Old Lyme Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library has an opening for a part time reference position including some evening and weekend hours. We are looking for an individual who is interested in providing personalized customer service, has the ability to manage multiple priorities and is committed to the mission of the public library. Responsibilities include providing reference service, processing interlibrary loans, assisting patrons with the use of public computers, and participating in collection development. Other duties may include assisting with programming and marketing. Bachelor's Degree required with a combination of library training and experience indicating ability to perform required duties. Knowledge of automated library systems, experience with electronic resources such as ICONN and MS desktop applications required. Students in an MLS program are encouraged to apply. The position is 20 hours per week at $19.60 per hour with partial benefits.
