Head of Technical Services, Librarian IV - Hamden Public Library. Primary responsibilities: The planning and coordination of technology and its applications for the library; cataloging and acquisitions; budgetary functions for the department. Specific duties include supervision of the technical services staff, lead cataloger and system administrator of the ILS. Familiarity with SIRSI-Dynix Horizon system is highly desirable. Applicants must have a M.L.S. and a minimum of 3 years experience including 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity in a technical services environment. Salary range is $43,150 - $54,642 with an additional 6-8% pending the outcome of a union contract. Excellent benefits package including pension plan.
