The West Haven library seeks a tech-savvy, customer-oriented
person for a full-time (37.5 hours) reference librarian position. Must be able
to work evenings and some Saturdays. The duties include but are not limited to;
adult programming, collection development for the Reference department,
overseeing the reference department, assisting patrons with computer support
along with one-on-one training, assisting the Technical Service Librarian with
social media and computer support as needed, along with providing monthly
reporting to the Director. This person must be a team player, have an attention
to detail, and strong troubleshooting skills. Required qualifications are an
MLS from an accredited institution, and a minimum of 1-2 years of library
experience. Familiarity with Sierra a plus. Salary will be commensurate with
