Assistant Librarian for Children’s Services
Chester Public Library is looking for a dynamic addition to our library
service team. This person will be responsible for planning and
providing all programs for children and teens, including weekly
school-year story times and a full calendar of summer programs, within
the framework of a part -time position that includes both Saturday hours
and circulation desk responsibilities. This position is a maximum of
12.5 hours per week with no paid benefits. The successful applicant
will possess creativity, flexibility, an open- hearted approach to
children, great communication skills, and experience helping children
develop both a love of reading and skills for exploring the world around
them. Prior library experience and familiarity with library technology
