Assistant Director - Wolcott Public Library. The Wolcott Public Library is seeking an experienced library professional for the position of Assistant Director. The Assistant Director is responsible for circulation and reference services, supervises circulation department staff and assists with outreach, guides patrons in the use of print materials, online catalog and databases, and the Internet, develops and maintains the reference collection and assists in developing online reference sources, assists with collection development and cataloging. 40 hour week, rotating weekends, and evening(s). QUALIFICATIONS: An MLS from an ALA accredited program and substantial experience working in a public library setting. Excellent customer service and strong reference, computer and supervisory skills.
