The Lucy Robbins Welles Library in Newington, Connecticut is seeking a full-time librarian who is tech-savvy, has excellent customer service skills, and enjoys working with others.
A brief description of duties include staffing the reference desk, assisting staff and the public with basic technology hardware / software troubleshooting, and maintaining various social media accounts. Please see the job listing for a full list of duties.
Applicants must have the availability to work a regular schedule that requires working one evening a week and a full day on Saturday on rotation. This is a full-time position. Minimum qualifications are graduation from a recognized college or university and/or a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited library school or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
