Wanted: New editor for Friends of CT Libraries (FOCL), primarily for the FOCLPoint newsletter and the annual meeting booklet.
Duties:
- Produce layout and edit stories for at least 2 newsletters per year at a rate of:
For 8-10 pages - $500
For 12 pages - $600 - Gather material to format Friends Around the State portion of newsletter
- Write articles as requested for newsletter at $75 per article
- Attend Annual Meeting - paid $100
With the elimination of Microsoft Publisher, another app will be needed to produce the newsletter - to be determined. Recent issues of FOCLPoint may be viewed at www.foclib.org under the Resources tab.
Deadline is Nov. 1, 2026 for applications, with samples of previous newsletter work if possible. Position begins Jan 1, 2027.
