The Henry Carter Hull Library seeks a highly motivated, relationship-oriented Capital Campaign Coordinator to support a major fundraising initiative to renovate and modernize our well-loved library. Working closely with the Library Director, Board of Trustees, Library Building Committee, and community volunteers, the Campaign Coordinator will play a key role in advancing fundraising efforts, engaging donors, and helping secure philanthropic support for this transformational project. This position is ideal for an individual with experience in fundraising, development, donor relations, sales, marketing, or community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the library's capital campaign and fundraising strategy.
  • Assist in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
  • Coordinate donor meetings, campaign presentations, and follow-up communications, and manage donor records.
  • Prepare fundraising materials, donor proposals, impact stories, and campaign updates.
  • Organize fundraising events, donor recognition activities, and community outreach efforts.
  • Track campaign progress toward fundraising goals and provide regular reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising, development, advancement, sales, marketing, public relations, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships and engaging donors, customers, clients, or community stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with donor databases or constituent management software preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff, volunteers, and board members.
