The West Hartford Public Library seeks a customer-focused Circulation Assistant to provide high-quality public service at any of our three library locations. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of circulation duties at a busy public service desk and is expected to use independent judgement. Previous experience in a customer service role is required. This is a part-time position that could include nights and weekends.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of relevant experience in a related position (examples include working in a library, customer service position in a retail store, food service).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and rotating weekends.
Starting salary: $23.09/hour
