The Town of Oxford seeks a creative, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Children's Librarian to plan and direct programs for ages 0-18, manage the children's collection, provide reference and reader's advisory services, and collaborate with local schools and the greater Oxford community. Responsibilities include supervising part-time staff and volunteers, developing collections, planning and executing programs, providing outreach services, and assisting the public at the main desks.
Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited program, minimum of two years library experience (youth-services preferred), strong knowledge of children's and young adult literature, excellent communication and collaborative skills.
Hours: 40/week, Tuesday & Thursday 11:30-7:30, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
