Programming & Outreach Librarian - Bethel Public Library

The Bethel Public Library is seeking a dedicated and professional librarian to serve as our Programming and Outreach Librarian. This is a supervisory position overseeing the programming and outreach of the Library, predominately supervising adult programming and outreach, while also supporting the programming and outreach work of the Youth Services Programmer. The position is 35 hours a week and includes evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited college or university, with a minimum of two years’ relevant experience in programming and outreach services are required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with library technology, digital resources, and integrated library systems (experience
    with Evergreen a plus).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders.
  • Administrative, supervisory, planning, and public library experience are highly desirable
