The East Hartford Public Library is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Library Assistant to join our Circulation Department. This role involves providing excellent customer service, performing filing and shelving tasks, and ensuring that library materials are properly organized. The position works under the general supervision of the Assistant Library Director.
Position Details:
Type: Part-time
Hours: 7–11 hours per week
Availability: Must include evenings and/or weekends: Saturdays (10 AM – 2 PM), Sundays (1 PM – 5 PM)
Pay Rate: $18 -$21.50 per hour depending on qualifications
Reports To: Assistant Library Director
