Director of Library Services - Goodwin University

The Director of Library Services is the chief administrator for the Hoffman Family Library at Goodwin University. This position reports directly to the Provost’s office and is responsible for successful administration of the Library in accordance with all properly authorized policies and procedures. The Director also leads outreach and engagement by defining and communicating the role of the Library within the broader academic community. The Director also advocates for resources necessary to achieve the library’s mission and goals, enhance existing resources, and supports the function and growth of Library services.

Education, Training and Experience: Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library Information Science from an accredited institution. Minimum five years of progressive Library administrative experience including at least three years in a supervisory capacity. Expertise using Library technology/Library systems. Strong commitment to higher education at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
