Are you a cheerful children’s librarian with a flair for fun? We’re on the lookout for a friendly face for both youth and their grown-ups—someone who serves with laughter, kindness, and a love of all things kid. Bonus points if you’re game to dress up now and then!
What You’ll Bring: A passion for public service and working with children (birth–age 12), a solid knowledge of children's literature and early childhood development principles, proven experience running programs and engaging with young audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills. Solid knowledge of children’s literature and early childhood development principles. Flexibility for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends—because literacy never sleeps! Tech-savviness—comfortable helping patrons with computers, digital resources, and the Integrated Library System (ILS).
What You’ll Do: Lead joyful programming, guide book quests (readers' advisory), create magical spaces (book displays), support learning and literacy (storytimes, S.T.E.A.M., book clubs), collaborate and connect.
