Part-Time Teen Services Librarian - Farmington Libraries

The Farmington Libraries seeks a forward-thinking and service-driven librarian to join us as our Teen Services Librarian. The Farmington Libraries offer diverse collections and programs, staff development opportunities, stable funding through grants, endowments, and a supportive Friends group, with leadership dedicated to maintaining a safe and accessible library for all.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, creative, flexible, and detail-oriented. In this role, you will be responsible for building on a well-established Teen Services program, nurturing the strong connections the library has with town, school, and local organizations; developing programming and collections, and supporting the teen users of the library. This is a part-time, 28 hours per week position, with a tentative schedule as follows: Mondays 12-7; Tuesdays 12-8, Wednesdays and Thursdays 12-5 and Fridays 9-5, as well as participation in the Saturday rotation. This is an hourly position and includes paid holidays and pro-rated leave. The hourly rate for this position is $32-36/hour based on experience.

To apply, submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional references to Monique Kucia at mkucia@farmingtonlibraries.org. Review of resumes will begin immediately, and this position will remain open until filled.
