Reports to: Head of Children's
Minimum Starting Salary: $17.71 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5-hour per week position, including at least one evening per week and alternate Fridays and Saturdays.
Position Summary: Library Assistant II performs a wide range of off- and on-desk paraprofessional library functions. Work involves frequent patron contract; requires use of automated library systems for various clerical tasks.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and post-secondary coursework, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency with keyboarding and filing. Minimum of two years of library experience. Language proficiency in Spanish, Polish, or other language spoken by library patrons is strongly preferred.
