The Town of Southington is seeking an experienced, creative, and customer-focused children’s librarian to join our team. Under the direction of the Head of Children’s Services, the children’s librarian will perform a variety of duties, including collection development, planning and presenting children’s programming, and providing readers advisory and reference services to children and families. An MLS from an ALA accredited college or university and two years’ experience in library services is required.
This is a 20 hour per week position, with a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Salary starting at $36.10/hr, with benefits.
