The Town of East Hartford Public Library is seeking an experienced youth librarian to join our staff as Head of Children's and Teen Services. The ideal candidate for this supervisory role thrives in a high-energy and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the children's and teen collections. Provide excellent customer service to a diverse population of children and families. Conduct community outreach and build strong relationships.
Qualifications: Expertise in collection development. Strong customer service skills. Experience in community outreach. Enjoy working with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
Position Details: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Includes one weekly evening shift. Full-time staff are not scheduled for regular weekend shifts. Flex schedule policy available.
Salary: $67,824.00 - $76,293.00 Annually
