Overview: Quinnipiac University's School of Law invites applications for a Law Library Circulation/Reserve Assistant (Temporary) position. Under the supervision of the Access Services Manager, you will assist in the operation of the Circulation/Reserve Department during evening and weekend hours. This position works mainly on a computer in an office environment within the library. Occasionally it may involve moving objects such as equipment or books weighing up to 25 pounds for short distances. This is a temporary, part-time, non-benefits eligible position, not to exceed 17.5 hours per week. The schedule is Tues and Thurs, 3-8 PM, and Sunday 12-5PM. The rate is $20.00/hour.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Qualifications: 2-3 years of customer service experience. Library circulation experience and direct experience with integrated library automated systems preferred. Demonstrated customer service, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other library and university departments. Previous supervisory experience desired. Evenings and weekends required: The schedule is Tues and Thurs, 3-8 PM, and Sunday 12-5PM.
