POSITION SUMMARY: The Gunn Memorial Library and Museum is creating a brand new Makerspace! We are seeking a librarian who passionately embraces technology, science, and art. This librarian has the ability to inspire imagination, draw out potential, and create a welcoming place for the community. This position requires flexibility, collaboration, communication, and the ability to identify priorities and shift focus quickly. In order to help fulfill the Library's mission, we want a professional with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor.
This position is 32 hours per week: Tuesday and Thursday 11-8, Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-3. Salary range is $43,000 – $50,000 (depending on experience and education) with a generous benefits package.
