The Hall Memorial Library in Ellington seeks an enthusiastic, creative, and tech-savvy team-player with excellent customer service skills and a commitment to the importance of the library in the community. The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of library tasks, including circulation desk duties, reader’s advisory, and patron support, and should be able to work courteously with the public and handle the challenges of a busy public library serving a diverse community.
Qualifications: High school diploma, computer literacy and customer service work experience required; some college, library work experience and familiarity with library technology preferred.
Hourly Wage: $17.50-18.00
Schedule: Varying schedule includes days, evenings and weekends; average 15 hours per week. Flexibility is a must.
