The Connecticut State Library (CSL) is now accepting applications for the position of Library Technical Assistant in Hartford within the History & Genealogy (H&G) Unit. This position is Part Time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm.
THE ROLE: As part of the History & Genealogy Unit, located within the Reference Services department at the Connecticut State Library in Hartford, this position provides both assistance to library patrons and support to the ongoing work of the unit.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in library work. [Two (2) years of college training equaling sixty (60) semester hours with at least twelve (12) semester hours in library science may be substituted for the General Experience.]
Salary: $26.66* - $34.29/hour (*Employees new to state service start at the minimum)
