Director of Library Services - Town of Tolland

The Town of Tolland is currently seeking applications for the position of Director of Library Services. Looking for a Director that can manage civic issues as they arise and has strong communication skills. Starting annual salary between $64,927-$90,022 (DOQ) with excellent benefits. Position is responsible for the development and administration of a major department of the Town regarding the provision of library services. Position requires a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited institution and five to seven (5-7) years of experience with at least three (3) years in a management capacity or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
