Part-Time Reference Librarian - Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, Monroe

Due to a recent promotion, the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Reference Librarian for to join our innovative team. We are looking for you if you are an enthusiastic and creative self-starter; motivated to learn how to use our new makerspace and assist patrons with equipment; and also, just as happy providing regular reference help and readers’ advisory. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with social media, able to help maintain the library’s web page, and willing to perform other related duties. Weekdays, nights, and some Saturdays required. Strong customer service orientation and MLS required. MLS candidates nearing graduation will be considered. This unaffiliated position’s salary range is $18.00 - $27.50/hour.
