The Outreach & Instruction Librarian is an essential member of the Library & Information Services team, working collaboratively to create a welcoming and inclusive library experience for all students, staff, and faculty. Additional shared responsibilities include staffing the library’s centralized service desk as well as supporting collection development, electronic resource management, and ongoing enhancement of the library’s web presence using LibGuides.
Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited institution, or equivalent, is required. MLS/MLIS candidates who have made significant progress toward their degrees will also be considered. Instructional experience in an academic library setting is preferred.
