Range: $20.46 - $28.06/hour. Our Library Assistants II provide customer service at the Children’s circulation desk, assist with reference and reader’s advisory work, and play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the Children's & Young Adults' Library on Sunday afternoons during the school year (September - May). Training will take place on weekdays in August; opportunities to work as a substitute during weekday hours year-round will be offered. Academic preparation in a field related to reading, literature, library science, or child development required; Library Technical Assistant certification and previous library experience highly desirable.
