The current assignment in Young Minds & Family Learning entails developing and delivering programs for children age 0-12 with an emphasis on early childhood programming, strong knowledge of children’s literature and providing a variety of information services for parents and children. The ideal candidate will have programming and collection management experience, creativity, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; maintain a professional commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion; and value teamwork.
This position serves a diverse population, including a substantial Spanish-speaking community. English/Spanish speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
This position requires a Masters degree in library science from an ALA-accredited library school.
