Reference Librarian - West Haven Library

West Haven Library seeks a full-time (37.5 hours) librarian to work in our busy Reference Department. Hours include one night per week and one Saturday in rotation every four weeks. Under the direction of the Head of Adult Services, duties include reference and technology help to the public; curating the reference collection, adult programming, assisting with our Digital Navigator program, and monthly statistical reporting. Must have the ability to assist patrons with reader’s advisory and technology help. This is a union position and includes health benefits and vacation time. Excellent customer service and technology skills are a must. Master’s from an accredited ALA institution is required along with 1-3 years of experience in a diverse environment.
