Visitor Services Coordinator - Gunn Memorial Library & Museum, Washington, CT

The national award-winning Gunn Museum, a department of Gunn Memorial Library, Inc. in Washington, Connecticut, is seeking a talented and motivated part-time Visitor Services Coordinator to provide administrative and curatorial support. The Coordinator will be responsible for managing the successful day-to-day operations of the museum and assist with museum collection projects as needed. Primary responsibilities are: general office administration, membership management, marketing, including social media and newsletter publication, assisting with coordinating events and programming, and additional duties as required. Interest in museums and history is preferred. The applicant must be personable, detail-oriented, have strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask and work effectively as a team. Solid computer skills are important, including Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Google Suite. Experience with Constant Contact is a plus. $17 per hour, 18 hours per week, Thursday, Friday 9:30am-4pm, Saturday 10am-3pm, and other times as needed
