Cromwell
Belden Public Library is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual
to help us provide a welcoming environment for our patrons. The Library
Assistant will be responsible for performing various circulation
functions, including: checking out materials to patrons, answering phone
calls, and assisting patrons with basic reference and technology
questions. This position may also include opportunities to work on a
variety of other projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will
have excellent customer service and computer skills, be a team player,
and enjoy learning new things. Prior library experience, college degree,
and familiarity with Sierra are a plus.
This is a part-time, 19.5 hour per week position with some evening hours and a weekend rotation for $16.23/hour.
