The
James Blackstone Memorial Library is seeking an enthusiastic,
technology savvy librarian to join a busy, service-oriented reference
department. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills and
be well-versed in library reference and research techniques in a
variety of formats. Knowledge and proficiency of emerging technology
trends and social media is essential.
Instructional and public
library experience a plus, especially from a LION library. Master’s
degree from an ALA accredited library school is required. Individuals
working toward completing their MLS degree will also be considered.
20 hours a week, including evenings and weekends, no benefits. Salary: $23-26/hour
