East Hartford Public
Library seeks customer service-oriented individuals for part-time
employment as Library Assistants in our Circulation Department. A
typical schedule includes 8-12 hours/week. Availability must include
evenings. Primary job responsibilities include basic circulation
functions and shelving and may include cross-training in other
departments. Library or retail experience preferred. Hourly rate is
$15/hr.
Qualifications: high school graduate or GED required plus minimum of one-year related experience preferred.
