The Burlington Public Library is looking for an Adult Services
Librarian to join our team! The Adult Services Librarian will be
responsible for the collection development, cataloging and maintenance
of our adult collection as well as planning and executing library
programs for adults.
We are an enthusiastic team that enjoys
collaborating with one another and coming up with new and creative ways
to promote the Burlington Public Library. Our ideal candidate will have
experience in planning programs, embrace creativity and enjoy working as
a team. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to
promote a positive library experience so excellent customer service is a
must. We also encourage ongoing learning and development and support
opportunities for staff to attend webinars and trainings relevant to
their position.

includes two evenings a week and one Saturday per month.
Qualifications: An
MLS/MLIS from an ALA accredited institution and 1-3 years of relevant
library experience including planning programs. Knowledge of Sierra, and
the functions of the Circulation desk, are a plus. Comfortable with
technology including a familiarity with social media and graphic design
platforms.
