Description:
Ellington Public Schools is looking for a K-6 Library Media
Specialist/Technology Integrationist to join Crystal Lake Elementary
School. This position will also provide support to one additional school
on integrating technology in instruction.
The Library Media
Specialist/Technology Integrationist will work with the Building
Principal, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction and
the library media assistants to promote student attainment of library
media skills and coordinate the elementary library media program. The
candidate will also work in collaboration with teachers to leverage
technology to advance student achievement in the core curriculum and to
support the district Vision of the Graduate.
Qualifications:
Current Connecticut teaching certificate is required. A valid
Connecticut library/media specialist endorsement (#062) is strongly
preferred.
