Wolcott
Public Library is hiring for a part time adult programmer. This is a
16-18 hour per week position consisting of afternoons and evenings with
additional hours on a rotating Saturday schedule.
Responsibilities
include seeking, contacting and scheduling presenters that will engage
the community, create promotional materials with graphic imaging
software such as Canva, provide outreach to the community through social
media, email lists, the library’s website, local newspapers etc., keep
accurate statistics and work within a budget. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required with 1 year of library experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a commitment
to excellent customer service. Proficient with technology, including
Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook.
