The Bethel Public Library is
seeking an individual with experience working with children and teens to
help provide quality programming to the community. Under the direction
of the Youth Programmer, the Library Assistant’s primary
responsibilities are to create and present programming for ages birth
through teen; including but not limited to story times, school visits,
STEM activities, and book discussions as well as provide access to our
Project Lab.
The Library Assistant will also provide services to
the public at all service desks throughout the library; create displays
and promote youth materials, and requires evening and weekend hours as
part of the regular work schedule. The minimum qualifications for this
position are a bachelor’s degree with experience working with children
and teens.
