The
Hall Memorial Library in Ellington seeks an energetic, creative,
tech-savvy and enthusiastic team-player as a part-time Library Assistant
II to perform a wide variety of library tasks, including circulation
desk duties, reader’s advisory, materials processing, bibliographic
entry, ILL, graphic design and patron support. The successful candidate
should be able to work courteously with the public and handle the
challenges of a busy public library serving a diverse community.
Qualifications: high school diploma and 2 years of library experience,
or Library Technical Assistant certification or equivalent, or two years
of college; knowledge of Evergreen ILS preferred.
Hourly Wage: $18.25
Schedule: Varying schedule includes days, evenings and weekends; average 28 hours per week. Flexibility is a must.
