Municipal Video Technician, PT – Groton
Public Library seeks a part time Municipal Video Technician for the
creative and innovative Groton Municipal Television team. The ideal
candidate will have considerable computer experience (with a focus on
digital and graphic software), exhibit some knowledge of studio and
field video production, thrive in a team environment, and be comfortable
working with members of the community on various projects. Attention to
detail and ability to prioritize is a must. Schedule flexibility is
needed, as evening and weekend hours may be required.
Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Communications, television/film
production or a closely related field and two years of experience.
Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Preferred: TelVue and Adobe
Professional experience. Familiarity with local, state and federal laws
and regulations regarding the operation of cable television production
and program distribution facility. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
Regular Part-time, 20 hours/week. $25.47/hour. Prorated benefits.
