Library Assistant - West Haven Public Library, CT

Library Assistant - West Haven Public Library seeks a part-time library assistant (12-16 hours per week) to work one evening per week, some days and Saturdays in rotation. Under the direction of Department Heads, duties include: charge items in and out, answer telephone, assist patrons with library resources, assist librarians with programs, patron registration, inquiries and shelving. Excellent customer service and computer skills are essential. High school diploma or equivalent required, prefer Bachelor’s degree and library experience. Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
