Program Coordinator (Union Position) - New Fairfield Free Public Library
GENERAL DUTIES: Plans and assists with library programs. Publicizes, evaluates all programs. Manages program budget.
HOURS: 26 per week. Flexible hours within library schedule to
accommodate programs. They will include some evening and weekend hours.
SALARY: Starting at $18.82 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in education or library science and
or three years’ experience in library programming. Ability to create and
implement programs to meet needs of library patrons. Good oral and
written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work
creatively and comfortably with children, parents, teachers, community
members, and organizations. Good organizational skills.
