What
will you contribute as a Reference Librarian in the new post-pandemic
era of public library service? Our Adult Services Department provides
collection development, reference, reader’s advisory, and referral
services, as well as access to technology and electronic resources,
outreach to community groups, and programs that explore literature,
music, art, current topics, and new ideas. The new member of our team
will be a part of our professional staff and will help us achieve our
mission: “to create welcoming experiences for people of all ages in our
diverse region that will foster opportunities for community connections,
promote individual growth, and provide access to resources that spark
creativity.” The position requires a graduate degree in Library Science
or a closely related field, library experience, and a willingness to
work with other professionals whose special talents combine to maintain a
patron-centered resource for the community. Classification will be
based on the qualifications of the person selected. Please submit a
