Part-Time Children’s Circulation Assistant – The Howard Whittemore Library is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and upbeat part-time circulation
assistant to join our Youth Services team in our newly renovated Department.
Minimum Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have outstanding
customer service skills, experience working with children, and a
positive
and dynamic personality. Must enjoy working with children and have
the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with families and
staff. Specific duties include circulating materials, readers’ advisory
and helping patrons find materials.
Additional duties may include preparing materials for circulation
and assisting with children’s programs.
Hours: This is a Saturday position (9am-2pm) with the potential for some weekday and evening hours. Hourly rate
is $15/hour.
