Full-time Library Services Assistant, Children's Dept. - Simsbury Public Library. We
are looking for a professional and enthusiastic person to join our busy
and dynamic Children's Department team. This is partly a circulation
position, but this person will also be responsible for planning and
facilitating a wide range of programs for children from birth to age
twelve. Our ideal candidate will have experience offering library
programs for children and will possess a dedication to excellent
customer service. Responsibilities include providing service at the
circulation desk, offering children's programs, creating displays,
assisting with marketing and social media, and other duties as required.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, T-3 position with the CSEA Simsbury
Secretarial, Clerical and Library Town Employees union with an hourly
pay rate of $21.43–$25.64/hr., plus benefits, for a 35 hour work week.
This position requires some evenings and weekends.
