Communications Assistant (LTA II) - Ridgefield
Library seeks a creative, tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual to
begin year-round part-time employment as a Communications Assistant.
This position supports the successful operation of the Library by
promoting Library programs and activities and managing the Library’s
presence in various print and online channels. Works closely with the
Library Director, Assistant Library Director and Programs staff to
cultivate a consistent message that reflects the Library’s mission,
vision and goals. The Communications Assistant will be responsible for a
variety of tasks that contribute to engaging, effective communications
and outreach activities for the Library.
Physical requirements
include ability to lift up to 40 pounds and ability to push and pull
objects weighing up to 80 pounds on wheels. Pay is $17.60 per hour with
no additional paid benefits, scheduled for an average of 15-19 hours
per week.
